SCHEDULE
the road ahead
Competition begins September 26 in Owensboro, Kentucky, at The Grind Session’s season-opening placement event, marking the start of ISM Basketball Academy’s inaugural season. Throughout the year, the team will compete against some of the nation’s top prep basketball programs in one of the world’s premier high school basketball leagues. The complete schedule will be announced this August.

ISM Basketball Academy is a premier college preparatory program that combines elite basketball training with strict academic excellence. Our mission is to develop student-athletes into leaders on the court, in the classroom, and in life.
Yes. ISM functions as a comprehensive college-prep institution. We provide dedicated academic support, college-prep schooling, and elite athletic development to ensure our student-athletes are fully prepared for the demands of university life.
Our teams compete at the highest level of prep basketball, including prominent placement on The Grind Session circuit. This provides our players with maximum national exposure against top-tier competition across the country.
We have a dedicated focus on college placement, boasting over 100+ college placements and 20+ Division 1 commits. Our coaching staff actively leverages relationships with college scouts, hosts recruiting weekends, and ensures players play in high-visibility showcases to maximize their recruitment opportunities.
Our athletic development includes comprehensive, on-court skill development, hoop habits training, and advanced strength and conditioning. We focus on building a championship mindset, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and elite physical preparation.
Our commitment is to helping players reach their full potential. If a student is not selected for the inaugural academy roster, they may have the opportunity to compete as part of ISM’s basketball program while continuing to develop their skills. Player evaluations are ongoing, and future opportunities within the academy may become available as players continue to grow.
